I'm looking for information about the Penman Manufacturing Company, which was owned by my grandfather, Arthur Willis, from about 1910 until about 1952. I believe it was an engineering workshop which made specialist parts for ships' engines. After my grandfather's death, it was run by a man called Mr Storey. My grandfather lived in Whickham and the workshop was within a few miles of his home, possibly in Dunston. Can anyone give me more information?
