Dunston Fire Brigade-(Circa1904) in Beresford Street, Dunston. This was an unofficial fire service started by Jimmmy Goulburn
The officer in charge was Mr Jimmy Goulbourn (sitting on the waggon).

my father in law hugh kelly melvin apparently was cross country champion in gateshead area in 1930s
can anyone confirm this.he was one of 10/11 children and i notice that a miss melvin was a school teacher.any connection?would appreciate any help as coming to the area in half term to try and find more.
