I note there is a pub formerly known as the Three Tuns. My Great Grandfather, Christopher Newton lived in Three Tuns Yard, New Elvet, Elvetham in 1891. Does anyone know if this is the same location?

The former Three Tuns at Whickham has no connection with New Elvet which is an area in the city of Durham. A hotel of that name still exists in Durham's New Elvet street. Elvetham, however is in Hampshire and seems to be unconnected.
