Ebenezer Chapel - Swalwell
This was a Presbyterian chapel, which opened in 1750 and was not demolished until May 1976. Ironically for a Presbyterian chapel, its greatest claim to fame is that John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, preached here in 1747 and in 1757.
